So this was the furthest I’ve ever travelled to an event and like a lot of these posts, had no idea what to expect. This was the LARGEST con event I’ve ever participated in, by far at a capped 25,000 people! The event sold out MONTHS before it even took place.

Let me give you some back story on how difficult it is to even be CONSIDERED for this event. You have to apply at a random date in the middle of may at 7:00PM. Then you only have a 30 minute window to submit your application. If the app isn’t submitted in that window, sorry Charlie. No dice. You’re outta luck. Try again next year. Next, you can only be a vendor if you have gaming or music merch. I HAVE NEITHER. I thought I would immediately be DENIED.

But! These lovely amazing MagFest organizers DID NOT deny me! They actually put me on the waitlist and eventually ACCEPTED ME INTO THE CON!

Flash forward, I met some of the most amazing people at this convention that I won’t forget. We sold THE MOST COPIES OUT OF ANY CONVENTION. Also, what’s crazy is the vendor hall is open 24 hours. Unfortunately even I cannot sling books for 96 hours straight (but I damn well tried!) I cannot thank MagFest, my fellow vendors and all of the AMAZING people I met and introducing The Hacker’s Monarchy
